Humane has warned customers about a potential "fire safety risk" with the AI Pin’s charging case. An email to owners cited a "quality issue with the battery cell" from a third-party vendor. While Humane didn't confirm a fire, an investigation found the battery cells might pose a fire risk. Customers are advised to stop using the charging case immediately. Other charging accessories are safe. Humane is offering two months of its subscription service for free and has been contacted for information on refunds or replacements for the $149 accessory.
